Troop Trade is built to resource the people who serve and the communities around their installations. That starts with career and resume tools, a licensed Veteran Support Directory, document recovery walkthroughs, Dealer Watch accountability, member-run community organization, and a community FAQ forum.

The closed vehicle and gear exchange came out of the same need — PCS moves, deployments, and base transfers shouldn't mean dealing with the open market or predatory lot pricing — but it is one part of the resource, not the point of it.

We verify every member through ID.me as active duty, veteran, retiree, reservist, or National Guard before they can post to member tools, list a vehicle, or contact a seller. The community is closed by design.

More than a marketplace. Troop Trade now includes a Veteran Support Directory — an official listing of licensed professional veteran support providers and local non-profit organizations that specialize in assisting veterans in need — alongside a distinctly separate Community Organization tool where verified members run their own groups, events, and meetups by installation. Together with the Community FAQ Forum and Dealer Watch, these tools extend our mission from transactions to the well-being and connection of the base communities we serve.

Our target: keep Troop Trade affordable for every tax bracket. A junior enlisted E-3 with a family and a senior officer or retired GS-15 should both feel the same value at signup. We price memberships affordably, route every sponsored membership directly to verified members who need it, and refuse to bury anyone in upsells. Rank and pay grade do not gate access to the marketplace or the community tools built around it.

We are a facilitating resource. Troop Trade is not a dealer, broker, escrow agent, or party to any sale. We provide membership verification, the platform, and community organization tools. All negotiations, inspections, payments, title transfers, after-sale matters, and peer-organized events are strictly between members.
